At our Bowl`a`Mama mornings, mums come over, together with their kids (babies, toddlers or older children), for two hours of bowling. Mums pay only 6.50 Euro whilst kids over three pay 4.70 Euro. Parking at the Eden Car Park costs 1 Euro only! Included in the price is bowling, shoe hire, coffee or cappuccino and buscuits and a free fruit squash for the kids.
Young toddlers, too young to join the bowling fun, are accomodated in a play area with slides, seesaws and other fun toys. They are given Playmobil toys to play with and colouring pages. They are supervised by child minders.
Mothers with young infants are also welcome to enjoy the morning with animators to entertain their young ones. Changing mats, bottle warmers, high chairs, walkers and bouncers are also provided for mums with younger babies.
Every month, mums are invited to watch a fun movie at the Eden Cinemas with their young babies and older toddlers in a relaxed atmosphere and are able to socialise with other young mothers. Due to the demand, the Eden Cinemas generally shows 2 films on two screens to accommodate the demand.
Hundreds of mums have brought their kids to a Cinemum morning. Before the film and during the intermission, mothers have time to mingle, visit the various mother-baby related stands in the foyer and allow their babies to play in the designated play area.
During the film`s interval, mums are treated to complementary teas and coffees and had at their disposal baby changers and bottle warmers.
Lights are partially on in the theatres and the sound subdued to make it easier for mothers & babies. Parking is provided for free and a buggy park is organised so that mums could keep their pushchairs close by.
The general feeling is one of fun and acceptance of the noise and bustle that a group of at least 100 under 4-year olds can generate! Mums are thrilled as not only can they enjoy watching a movie, but they enjoy the opportunity of socialising.
Often times free gifts are given to each mum and child and animators are often at each event ready to give a show and entertain kids and adults alike!
Mums, dads and accompanying adults pay only 4.65 Euro, babies and children up to the age of three are allowed for free. Parking at the Eden Car park costs 1 Euro only! These mornings are held at 10am generally on the last Friday of the month.
Pushing Power fitness classes have become a successful new addition to Cynergi`s fitness schedule. Many mothers who attended have positive comments describing the classes as 'excellent' and 'perfect' and asking for regular slots.
Pushing Power classes are fitness sessions geared towards mums with their little ones in tow. The classes are designed for busy mothers to exercise, tone up and burn fat without leaving her child with a minder. The class involves a variety of body conditioning exercises to gently help tone problem areas, coupled with a cardio vascular section to help improve stamina and burn those extra calories which may have piled on due to inactivity. Besides, Pushing Power is an opportunity for socializing and making friends.
While mums are exercising, children remain next to them, in their buggies or jumping around joining in on the exercise. Babies are mesmerised by the music and movement while toddlers and older kids have fun playing and running around.
Cynergi is hosting Pushing Power classes Wednesday mornings at the Bay Arena from 7th January 2009 at 10.30am. All the mothers who have so far attended expressed their positive comments describing the classes as `excellent` and `ideal`!
Free parking is offered to all participants at the Eden Car Park and baby changing and feeding facilities are on hand. A creche is also available for mothers with more than one child.
The Eden Summer Club
This summer The Eden Leisure Group is organising days full of bowling, fun, games and films for kids between 3 and 15 years old. The Eden Summer Club will take place twice a week and there are 3 sessions, in July, August and September.
This is the 6th year running a similar programme and it is confidently felt that through experience and excellent staff and facilities, a great service is on offer as well as a great summer for the children - not to mention peace of mind to parents that the children are well cared for.
Children will have the opportunity to be taught the rules of the bowling, work on their bowling skills and participate in a league. Kids will be shown a selection of children`s movie both recent releases and popular blockbusters from the last few months. Kids will also enjoy one hour of fun fitness activities on our premises once a week. A PE teacher/fitness instructor for the older children and a bubbly, fun activity coordinator to play with the younger kids are on hand. There will be muffin decorating, funny costumes, origami, dinosaur making using modeling dough/plasticene and much more!
Prices start from 70 Euro, however discounts are available to those who book for more than one month or for those with more than one child. Early bookings are recommended.

Swimming Lessons
Give your children confidence in the water this summer, with Swimming Classes at Cynergi health & fitness club.
Cynergi Health and Fitness Club together with the Eden Leisure MumsClub are organising swimming classes starting on 4th March.
“Little Swimmers” are swimming classes for children of all ages. Classes will take approximately 5 each, according to ability, not age. Classes are held on Thursdays and Fridays at 4pm and 4:45pm for a 5 week course, for only 50 Euro. Equipment is provided.
Classes will be held at Cynergi Health & Fitness Club's 17 meter heated indoor pool.
Mums interested in having their child take up these lessons may choose to remain with the child in the pool area, enjoy a drink in the Cynergi or InterContinental lobby or opt for a healthy workout too at Cynergi Health & Fitness Club whilst their child is trained by the fully qualified instructor from “Rob’s Swim School”.
